Status Update on 11/6/08:

We just got off the phone with them, and have been informed that they are wayyy behind in their shipping, quite frankly the lady sounded overwhelmed.  She said that she "thought" our order would go out this week and that she would call me back to confirm.  We are not holding our breaths however, as we've been told this now several times.  She also mentioned that they just did not anticipate the demand and are having a very hard time keeping up. 

That being said, when it does show up, it will be a nice surprise!!  The best thing to do is to keep checking our website, and we can also put you down in our special order book to call you when it arrives as well, just let us know if you are interested!

Here a few things that I ordered at the trade show!

New two tone Cardstock, Luxe, Tinkering Ink (check out the Neglected t-shirts for Fathers Day), Cosmo Cricket (Hello Sunshine), Jenni Bowlin, Hambly Screen Prints, Teresa Collins (Travel), and I can't even post how many Ranger products we bought for the Tim Holtz visit! New Daisy Bucket, My Favorite Things, and others not pictured.

Basic Grey shipped out on Monday the 7th. 7 Gypsies shipped on the 8th. American Crafts, Carolees Creations, and Bazzill will be her Wednesday the 9th! More will come, we just never know what.

Quickutz and some updates!

As you all know we have tons of things coming but I still needed to wrap a few up here is the Quickutz order we placed! 

Silouette Tools, Revolution, blades, vinyl, mats, tools, scrapers, new sport dies for the crop room, $25 download cards and all the design portfolios!                                                                   Vinyl in all colors and the transfer paper so you can add this to your walls! 

   

    

It's a wrap on CHA!

Our third day of writing orders at CHA was just as busy as the first two. Run Sam, run Sheri!!!!!!!! The last day of any show can make or break anyone. Sore feet, aching shoulders, tired everything, and extremely sick of tripping on the show carpet every 20 feet. We took many trips but I am happy to say neither Sheri or I went completely down, miracle!

We had to divide and conquer about mid-day because it took me so long to get the CI order done!  We covered the new Exhibitors area and eight times around the rest of the floor. Phew!

I can say, I wish we had more time to explore the general craft area. I can't wait for some of the fun things that we did find to hit the store. The last hour of the show literally had us running to get the last of the booths to get our show orders done.

We then had to get to the airport and try and find somewhere to put all our stuff. It cracks me up, I am sure we look like crazy air gypsies. My inner scale is working, my large suitcase weighed exactly 50lbs on my first weigh in. Nice! Sheri and I buzzed to the gift shop and then to the restaurant. We ran into Ali and her friend Trisha, who sat and chatted it up before getting out all their techno gear.   Check out Ali w/her Iphone and laptop, eating gummi bears too. That's multitasking!!!

I am bringing my camera next time so I can prove Sheri was there! Sam

Chatterbox - Absolutely love Melody Ross and her classy crew! We ordered all of the release. So good to have them back! Melody is really spreading her wings and expressing her true design spirit. Sheri and I had a long chat w/Carrie U. and reminded her how much we loved all the CB classes from a few years ago. She said she would think about the feed back. Who knows, maybe we can talk her into coming to SBA???

Jenny Bowlin -  Are you kidding??? We walked into the booth and turned to Sheri and informed her very politely that I am going to order every thing in the entire booth. Please??? She calmly looked at me and gave me an approving nod. Ohhhh yeahhhh!

   

Paper Trunk - is at it again, don't you think? Great texture and design from this local company.

Tattered Angels - We are so onboard w/Glimmer Mist. If you want love to glimmer, you will appreciate this new product.

Paper Salon and Karen Nueberger- Wow, really loved these lines! Sorbet and more!

Zutter - New corner rounders and Dreamcuts too!

Teresa collins - What? Well, everything ofcoarse! She is so sweet! I didn't realize how much I have been missing her designs on my page. Now it won't be a problem!

Dreamstreet - We ordered all the new lines because sometimes it is too hard to say no to yourself. Besides, we wouldn't want to disappoint.

Scrappin Sports - Finally new sporty collections that we love. Lots of new niche: trampoline, video gaming, ping pong, and more. Paper, rub-ons, and stickers. Check out the retro but simple styling of the new sport papers. The booth was so cute, they had real grey lockers. We suggested that they should put paper trays in the lockers to display all their paper. They could barely finish our order, their wheels were turning so hard to design their new locker paper holders.

My Little Shoebox - Sheri wrote this order while I was at Tattered Angels. Very shabby chic. SB, you will be in heaven. Very feminine and sophisticated!

Karen Foster - Dentist, Prom, Hockey, Water fun, Bowling, Birthday, Baby's 1st, and more. Lots of new items to refresh some of the lines you may already have. Thought of you DM.

7Gypsies - Tons of new from this old fav! More of what you would expect from the Gysies!

 

Crafters Workshop - New templates that will really blow your socks off.

Baby Tooth Albums - Finally, a company that helps parents store and scrap the big losses that are part of growing up.

Queen and Co. - We have always wanted to have a ridiculous amount of felt fusion. So we ordered all of it!

Heidi Swapp - We loved all the new paper and collections. Her designs never disappoint!

Cropper Hopper -  Staying organized will be so much easier. Wait until you see all the new CH we will have gracing our walls.

DCWV - This was a tough order but we go through it. New glitter papers, Baby, travel, and Once upon a time in bulk. Cool!!!

 

Amanda Blu - Super fun albums and tons of paper to match the album!

 

SEI - Oooookay, breathe deep. What do you want us to say? All preservation series, Jolie Chocolat, Madera Island, Dill, Baby boy and girl, more too!

Hot off the Press - Kits and embellishments! This company gets it! Almost done kits? Yes!!!

Maude Asbury - It has been years since we have ordered from this company. I couldn't help myself, the fabrics and workmanship are so good. They have been designing their own fabrics so you will feel like your albums is one of very few. They also have a new album that holds tons of pages!

Home Essence - This company is out of CA. Sheri and I loved their classy style. The design and manufacture albums w/matching frames and guest books. Some have rhinestone buckles and the fabrics are stunning. Check our their website www.homeessence.net

Creative Imaginations - I love this company! (Thank you Amy C. for being so patient writing this order) It is easy to understand, i know most of the artists personally and they are such great people. Karen Russell's new lines are up to her above par design quality. Danelle J. has amazing new designs that I can't wait to get. There is new Signature and new artists that will shake it up as usual. My fav item might be the cyrstals. Think jewelry store!!! This will be hot, hot, hot! We spent thousands here, we will keep it coming for months! New travel, cocktails, Seaworld, Magic, so much more! A few years ago Sheri and I cruised with the owner of Magic Scraps. (love you Ashlee) She now owns Polka Dot Potato. We will be partnering with her company to bring more hybrid and digital scrapbooking to SBA. Yeah, we know, finally!

Clear Scraps - I must say, these were some of the best layouts in the building. I am certain the photos will not do them justice. These gals have their selves together. They have good quality and better prices. You may want to clear the air after you see these mini-books and embellishments.

Colorbok -  We mostly ordered albums and kits here. Check out the rhinestone am shimmer flower. I loved certain sections, but the one that I am so pumped for is the crafting division. We ordered diy 8" Build-a-bear kits. You can afford to buy these for birthday parties and home crafting. You stuff the bear and we have outifts coming too!

CHA Day 2

Oh my goodness ladies, where do I begin? We had a great day today. I was the first to rise, and I wanted Sheri and her mom to sleep in anyway. We only have one room and I didn't want to turn on any lights and wake them so I showered, stretched, and got dressed by flashlight. Too funny!

We think of so many of you personally when we place these orders. Sheri and I actually say to each other who we think would love it. If you don't see your name, it is because I am sooo tired and can't even stand up straight. We are off to find a parking lot with Wi-Fi, we are in our jammies and look really bad. We trade off with the computer. Sheri can barely move because mom sits so close to the steering wheel. We actually find a lot of humor in these big adventures, we hope you do too! Don't you just love us :)

We hit the ground running as soon as the show opened at 9am. We started the day with Elsie at KI and yes, we ordered all of her new lines, see the cute pic!

Kaiser Craft - This might be our biggest find at the show (I am sure you will hear that a lot) This company is out of Australia and has such an amazing line of products - something for everyone! Rub ons, paper, chipboard albums, bling, brads, felt, wood, and soooo much more! We ordered tons, this was Sam's top pick of the day!

Basic Grey - We ordered it all!!!! I can't decide which line is my favorite but Boxer will definitely be great for boy layouts or heritage. Lines are Boxer, Sugared, Archaic, Cupcake, and Sultry.

Carolee's Creations - Wow, they rocked it too! We loved the new chipboard books with acrylic top covers. We found a freckle kit to represent all my peeps! Ordered lots of paper and great new chip flowers with paper that covers for a real do-it-yourself-er.

Fancy Pants - Did you think we would let you down? All of it! New collections are: Glitter Cuts, Big Chipboard, Fashion Sense Felt, Celebrate, Daydreams, and Sweet Spring.

Imaginisce - The Shore Thing, For Peeps Sake, The Baby Powder, All Kinds of Happy. What a departure, you will be impressed. D.P., thought of you here!

Scenic Route - Melissa and Leslie, you will be impressed! We did you both so proud! We ordered all the new - including kits and classes. We chatted it up with SR and they did tell us they will be designing small releases every other month. Cool! Grafton, Lyndon, and Providence.

WeR Memory Keepers - Ya know when you really love a company and you just want one of everything? Well, we think the same way. We loved the new BIG BITE and ordered 18 to start!! Frenzy, hoopla, Promenade, Precious Metals, and more. Then we got to the whole album thing with the leather vs. cloth, ring vs. post???? Soooo, we ordered every album that we saw. Cool huh?

Three Bugs In a Rug  - Celebrate, Spring, Summer, and some of Island. Very cute!!!

October Afternoon - Daydream, Detours, County Fair, Chipboard albums with ledger paper, Chipboard Albums... stamps too! Leslie K and Crys, you will be soooo happy with this order!

Sports Solution - OSU and U of O paper, stickers, and kits!

Paper Adventures - It has been such a long time but yes we orderd. Graduation, Easter, and beautiful Wedding. Kelly, this is for you!

Your Pictured Memories - Really great texture like Crate Paper. Bling, ribbons, and papers. Pull-Ex for you Lisa! Green, pink, and black.

Hambly Screenprints - Are you kidding? All the new is coming! LOVED IT!

Webster's Pages - New paper and really cool frames for the home! The frames are magnetic inside with a wood exterior and high quality! You will just have to see...

Best Creation - Glitter papers, stickers, metallic and metals. Very upscale embossed designs.

Sassafras Lass - 12x13 papers!!!! Ohhhh yeah, we absolutely loved it! Yes, we ordered more Owl stamps. We ordered all the new: Life is Beautiful, My Dearest, Pocketful of Posies, Serendipity, Sunshine Lollipop, Robotics. Amy and Cheryl - I think you will love!

Moxxie - All the new lines are officially either in the store or ordered. Philly, Buckaroo, Under the Big Top, Zoo, Fun, Easter Doodle, Just a Girl, Maiden Voyage, DIY, Tea for Two, Bowlarama, Basketball, Soccer!

Cosmo Cricket - Could this company be any funnier? We love reading the website! Blackboard, Get Happy, Fleuriste, Honey Pie, and Cogsmo!

Prima Prima Prima - Bets, you will love all the new transparent paintables! Like a ballerina, Prima is the best of the company. Amazing new paper lines, rub ons, transparencies, flowers, felt, kits, bling, clip. We spent thousands! This will rock your socks off! This was Sheri's top pick of the day.

Apple Pie Memories - Bulk blocks for all your clear stamping needs!

Scribble Scrabble - We really loved this couple. We just had to order all their new stuff. I didn't grab a catalog but it is all wonderful!
